Time and again we see so many people that have been down the route of getting bored and tired of doing the same thing in the gym: steady state cardio. You’ll spend 20 minutes on the treadmill followed by 10 minutes on the rower, and then another 20 minutes on the bike.
You’ll switch from manual mode to interval after a while because that makes it harder and shows you that you’re working more and expending more energy. Doing this will give you some great results in the first few weeks of going to the gym (if you haven’t been in a while).
But, soon after you’ll probably see a plateau of how fit you’re feeling and how much weight you’re actually losing.
